The SpurTex V100 FFP2 NR nano respirator from the Czech nanotechnology company Spur is a very effective respiratory protective device. It is designed for those who need a higher degree of protection. The seven-layer respirator incorporates a high-efficiency nanomaterial filter membrane that has a verified capture rate of 98.5% for submicron particles (20-400 nm), equivalent to FFP2 filtration. This makes it ideal for capturing viruses (30-150 nm), bacteria, smog or allergens.

Unique SpurTex® nanofibres
The SpurTex® nano respirator is disposable, or if necessary, it can be sterilized 3-5 times using a disinfectant designed for this purpose or germicidal (UV-C) lamps. It can be worn for up to 8 hours depending on the environment where it is used. The SpurTex V100 FFP2 NR features a reinforced moldable edge to perfectly conform to any face shape to maximize its filtering ability.
Material specification of the SpurTex V100 FFP2 nano respirator
The nano respirator is made of SpurTex PP L2 V3, which is a 7-layer laminate consisting of non-woven polypropylene fabrics on the surface and a specially developed active nanofibrous filter layer made of PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) polymer prepared using the latest unique technology of softening polymer solution in an electrostatic field. The nanofibrous polymer filter layer is firmly fixed between the surface layers, which guarantees good final mechanical properties of the respirator and at the same time eliminates the possibility of damaging the very fine polymer nanofibers during handling and use.
Maximum protection and comfort
Nanofibre is invisible to the human eye. It's up to 1000 times thinner than a hair. Thanks to this, a filter membrane so dense or with such small holes that bacteria, viruses and allergens cannot pass through can be spun. Spur manufactures nanofibres by electrospinning, which results in an exceptionally thin fibre with the highest filtration capabilities. The nanofibers are then spun into a membrane with a tested particle trapping size of 20-400 nm.
Full certification of the SpurTex V100 FFP2 nano respirator
The material SPURTEX® PP L2 V3, from which the nano respirator SpurTex V100 FFP2 NR is made, fully complies with the requirements of the European standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009 for filtering half-masks against particles and meets the quality class FFP2. SPURTEX® PP L2 V3 is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 28000 standards.
Proper handling of the nano respirator
Putting on a respirator:
The SPURTEX V100 FFP2 NR nano respirator is worn over the face to cover the nose and mouth. Its fixation is done with a pair of elastic side bands behind the ears and a thin metal band, which, when put on with the fingers, is shaped so that the respirator follows the shape of the nose as closely as possible. It is not recommended to wash or iron the material
The SPURTEX V100 FFP2 NR nano respirator does not provide any protection against gases. The amount of oxygen in the respirator use environment must be at least 17%.
Údržba respirátoru:
SpurTex Respirator is categorized as a disposable material. Its excellent filtration properties are only retained for a very limited time depending on the environment in which it is used. In normal use, after 8 hours, dangerous particles (bacteria, viruses, etc.) ) in the nanofibre filter and in a contaminated environment it must be changed frequently. The nanofibre structure itself is not treated with any antimicrobial treatment.
Sterilizace respirátoru:
If necessary, the respirator can be sterilized 3-5 times. The recommended method of sterilisation is by means of a disinfectant designed for this purpose or by means of germicidal (UV-C) lamps. Other sterilisation methods must be discussed with the manufacturer.
